Our ACE crew took part in some NAIDOC celebrations last week, across all our campus locations. Our Community Programs team were in attendance at the Lismore NAIDOC event.
Cheyanne our Community Engagement Coordinator reflects, "I was proud to attend NAIDOC week event, celebrating the strength, resilience, and rich cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The weather was beautiful, the event was well organised and overall it was an awesome day.
As a proud Widjabul women, it was a meaningful opportunity to connect with community, honour our Elders, and celebrate our stories, history, and achievements.
NAIDOC is a reminder to stand strong in our identity, celebrate where we come from, and continue walking together with pride."
