ACE’s Driver Education Program was honoured to be nominated at this year’s Australian Road Safety Foundation (ARSF) Awards! Held in Canberra on 2 July 2026, the awards are an initiative of the ARSF and shine a light on people and programs from across the country, that are dedicated to improving road safety for all road users.
In the Rural and Remote Programs category, ACE was recognised for the work the Driver Education team have been doing to support Pacific Island workers in Casino and Tabulam to gain their NSW licences. These workers are in Australia on Pacific Australia Labor Mobility (PALM) visas and are working in local meatworks and blueberry farms.
Our Lismore and Community Manager Natalie was thrilled to attend and cheer on our fellow nominees, and while we did not come away with an award, we send our heartfelt congratulations to all the well-deserving winners of the evening.
“It was a terrific opportunity for me to visit our beautiful capital, network with likeminded organisations and celebrate this fantastic event with achievements that serve as a powerful reminder of our shared goal to improve road safety awareness & reduce the impact of road trauma in Australia.”
