Hazard Perception Test
The Transport for NSW (TfNSW) Hazard Perception Test is the next step in your driving journey.
Congratulations on gaining your learners permit. Before you can attempt the Transport for NSW Driving Test you must pass the computer based ‘Hazard Perception Test’. This test consists of 15 video scenarios of driving situations and requires you to demonstrate safe decision making when driving. If you are under 25 you cannot attempt this test until you have 80 hours of driving recorded in your logbook. If you would like some 1:1 assistance to prepare for this test please contact ACE Colleges. Sessions are available subject to the trainer and computer availability.

What you receive?
This program helps to prepare people with low literacy and/or digital literacy challenges. Students prepare by using the online practise test. Each student receives:
- Digital literacy education to assist with the Hazard Perception Test.
- Access to computers and staff at the College to practice the TfNSW Hazard Perception Test.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this course you must be a current or past ACE Community Colleges L or P Program student.
