We’re thrilled to welcome our Community Programs Manager, Natalie Hannah, to the blog today. She’s reflecting on the past year and sharing some exciting updates with you. Over to you, Natalie!
"2024 has been an incredible year for Community Programs, and I’m so proud of everything we’ve accomplished. From running 50 learner driver classes across 13 locations to welcoming a new site in Port Macquarie, it’s been a year of growth and expansion. The demand for our programs has been phenomenal, and to keep up, we've added additional driving instructors to make sure more learners can get the support they need.
This year we launched our brand new website. Not only does it look amazing, but it now makes it easier for students to find the right program and apply. We’ve also made sure to highlight the achievements of our fabulous students, celebrating their hard work and success. The new Locations Map has been a game-changer, offering easy access to all the wonderful community partners who support us by sharing their spaces and resources.
Looking ahead to 2025, we’re excited to spend even more time in the community. We plan to attend local events and catch up with the service providers and organizations that have supported us. This will help us continue improving our programs and better serve the communities we work in. Whether it’s supporting students with Birth Certificate applications, time management, or road safety workshops, we’re committed to helping learners of all backgrounds and abilities succeed in obtaining their learner’s licence.
It doesn’t matter how old you are, what your literacy or digital skills are, or how many times you’ve tried to get your licence—you can do this! The Community Programs team is here to guide you every step of the way. So, if you’re ready to start your journey to freedom, reach out to us and let’s make it happen.
